Sample Submission Guidelines
The following concentrations and volumes are recommended guidelines.
Typically, we request more volume than we need - if you need to send less, just let us know.
*DNA should be resuspended in molecular grade water, elution buffer or as a dried down pellet. Do Not Store In TE. Lower concentration of DNA may be used in some cases. **Bacterial Samples sent in 96-well format should be stored as glycerol stocks. ***Please do not dilute your PCR product. Typically, PCR is within the concentration range necessary for sequencing. ****We prefer the primers to be sent separately, not pre-mixed with the template. Thanks. Rodent/Animal Tissue Sample Submission Guidelines Please send a copy of the custom order form provided with your rodent tissue shipment. Samples should be in 1.5mL or 2.omL microcentrifuge tubes snap-top tubes, not screwtop tubes. Please call about 96-well plate format. Each tube should be well-marked with the sample number/description matching the numbers/description on the order form. Recommended: wrap the tube with clear tape over the writing to further protect it and prevent smudging. Seal lids of tubes by wrapping with parafilm to prevent opening during shipping. Recommended: Collect tubes in a ziplock or cardboard box.
